SHIRLEY ANN LUDWIG

     Shirley Ann Ludwig, 97, died Nov. 30, 2024, peacefully at home.

     She was born May 9, 1927, to the late Frances Marie and Harold “Topper” Thompson of Stevens Point, WI. She married William L. Ludwig in 1948, and they remained together for 68 years until his death. Together, they raised three daughters, and later operated the Ludwig’s Strawberry Farm in Eagle River, WI. Bill and Shirley often remembered fondly the times and friends they shared when they lived in Neillsville.

     Shirley will be remembered for her loving nature and dedication to her family and daughters. She enjoyed shopping, walking, sewing, cooking and reading.

     She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William. 

     She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Scott) Dobrzynski, Amy (Mike) Florence and Janice (Gary) Gardner.
