ROSE M. PAULSON

     Rose Paulson, 83, of Neillsville, WI, died Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at House of the Dove, Hospice Home in Marshfield, WI.

     Rose Marie Kieliszewski was born Dec. 28, 1941, in Whiting, WI, the daughter of Nickolus and Esthere (Nagorski) Kieliszewski. She was raised in Stevens Point, WI, and was employed at a local restaurant. She was married to Stanley Serafin Sr. Aug. 9, 1958. They divorced in December of 1982, and Rose moved to Neillsville in 1990. On Dec. 26, 1992, she married David Paulson. 

     Stanley Serafin Sr. died on Jan. 31, 2003, and David Paulson died April 7, 2002. Rose worked at the Marshfield Clinic Day Care Center from 2001 until retiring Jan. 1, 2007.

     Her hobbies included camping and visiting the casino every now and then.

     She is survived by six sons, Stephen Serafin of Thorp, WI, John (Renee) Serafin of Amherst, WI, Joseph Serafin of Neillsville, WI, James (Jennifer) Serafin of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Raymond (Julie) Serafin of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and Matt (Becky) Serafin of Thorp, WI; grandsons Thomas, Tylor, Eric, John Jr., Cory, Noah, Ben and Henry; three granddaughters, Amanda, Meghan and Isabelle, a sister, Shirley (Kenneth Sr.) Fennewald of Cambria, WI; and a brother, Raymond (Jeannie) Kieliszewski of Superior, WI.

     She was preceded in death by husband David; a son, Stanley Serafin Jr.; a brother, Sheldon Kieliszewski; her parents; and a brother-in-law, Dennis Paulson of Nevada City, CA.

     A graveside service for Rose will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the Neillsville City Cemetery.
