Bob enjoyed spending time with Joyce “shopping,” which was always code for going to the casino. They would enjoy trying their luck in Nekoosa and Black River Falls.
Pa loved attending countless softball games of their sons. Everyone on the team and many others knew them as fixtures at these games. He was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and wouldn’t miss watching a game. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He loved reminiscing of the wonderful memories as he smoked his pipe outside.
Those who will cherish his memory include his sons, Steve (Detrice H) Lindner of Marshfield, Greg (fiancé, Pam Tippett) Lindner of Marshfield and Brad (Judy) Lindner of Neillsville; his grandchildren, Christopher Lindner, Patrick (Shelley) Lindner, Geoff (Melissa) Lindner, Sara (Trevor) Newman, Jessica (Jason) Brown, Jodi (Mike) Hetchler, Jared (Nici) Lindner and Jenny Lindner; his 15 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Ronald (Everyl) Lindner of OK. along with many other relatives, friends and neighbors.
The family would like to also acknowledge the special care of Cindy and Randy Koch.
