MICHAEL ROBERT LULLOFF

     “Mike” was born Sept. 2, 1948, in Marshfield, WI, and passed away in his home Nov. 8, 2024, in Odessa, TX.

     Mike was preceded in death by second wife, Maxine; father Robert F. Lulloff (army vet); mother Irene M. Richmond; stepmother Anita E. (Marden-Ratsch) Lulloff; brother Thomas L. Lulloff (army vet); and stepbrother Jerry Marden (Spencer, WI).

     Mike is survived by first wife Roseann; daughter Gennifer (Lulloff) McKenna (Jacksonville, FL); son Robert Lulloff (Jacksonville, FL); son Gregory Lulloff (Scranton, PA); sister Kathryn (Lulloff) Albers (Jacksonville, FL); nine grandchildren (Matthew, Rachael, Dylan, Christopher, Kandice, Briana, Jason, Dominic and Bruce); half-sister Cindy Kopp (Neillsville, WI,); step-siblings Ronald Marden (Kansas City, MO) and Randy Marden (Neillsville, WI).

     Mike’s childhood life included great memories of growing up in a blended family created by the marriage of Bob and Anita and children of each.

     Mike and “Ronnie” were just everyday “brothers” growing together in their formative years. They shared much together - bunk beds, church, Sundays at the Werle farm in Spokeville, shoveling snow, raking leaves, mowing lawns, painting Ike’s barn, baling hay, trimming Christmas trees, motorcycling together with Mike on his Honda 90 and “Ronnie” on his Cushman Scooter, painted our Grand Avenue house, delivered Marshfield News Herald with both knowing each other’s route, achieved Eagle Scout, served as acolytes with both being confirmed in the United Church of Christ and worked at Red Owl Grocery Store. Mike taught “Ronnie” how to dance upon entering high school! Together, as brothers, Mike and Ronnie graduated from Neillsville High School in 1966.

     After graduation, Mike, along with high school friend Steve Mabie, joined the navy in August of 1966, both serving in the Vietnam Conflict. 

     Mike served as a shipfitter-fireman and was honorably discharged Sept. 23, 1970. Afterwards, Mike resided in New York from 1970 to 2003. He married Rosann in 1970, and they were blessed with three children.

     In New York, Mike worked for the Island Power Authority, the Mastic Fire Department and the Mastic Ambulance Company. In 2003, Mike and second wife, Maxine, moved to Odessa, TX. In Odessa, Mike’s post-navy career also included hospital maintenance, an EMT and an OSHA Safety Trainer for several years. Along with conducting DJ gigs, Mike enthusiastically enjoyed country style dancing.

     Mike returned to Neillsville several times through the years. In 2006, Mike rode his Harley Roadster in a circuitous journey through a multitude of states from Odessa, TX, to/from Neillsville.

     In the last several years, Mike was a member of Odessa Assembly of God Church in Odessa. Pastor Todd said Mike was always early, helped the security team, greeted people, was faithful to the church, breakfasted with church friends and was well loved.

     A graveside service will be conducted in 2025 in the Neillsville Cemetery.
