MARVIN L. STERNITZKY

     Marvin Leroy Sternitzky, 72, of Pigeon Falls died Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, in the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.

     Marvin was born Feb. 1, 1951, in Neillsville to Clarence and Selma (Handke) Sternitzky. He married Roberta Schleusner June 25, 1986, in Neillsville.

     Marvin farmed and made leather belts. He enjoyed going to flea markets, his church families and friends.

     Marvin is survived by his wife, Roberta; a son, Jacob Sternitzky of Granton; a daughter, Melissa (Brandon) Blumke of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother, Stan (Karaleen) Sternitzky of Barron; and several nieces and nephews.

     A memorial service will be held Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at 7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall. Pastor John Oscar will officiate. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Granton at a later date.

     Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, from 5 p.m. until the time of service.

     The Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall is assisting the family with arrangements.
