GENEVIEVE L. KRONBERGER

GENEVIEVE L. KRONBERGER
Genevieve L. Kronberger (Jenny) of Neillsville, WI, passed away Sept. 29, 2025, in her home at the age of 81 with her family at her side and under the care of hospice. She was born Jan. 25, 1944, to Albin and Genevieve Kurtinaitis in the Thorp area, both full-blooded Lithuanians.
Jenny was schooled in Thorp public school but left school early to be married and have a child. She would later get her GED but was always frustrated that she didn’t graduate with her classmates in Thorp. She farmed with her first husband Anthony V. Suda northwest of Greenwood, and together had three children, Tony, Teresa and Angi. They divorced in 1978.
Jenny met and married Mark J. Kronberger from Neillsville June 2, 1995. Jenny was employed in various places, including the nursing home in Fairchild, Post Manufacturing in Owen-Withee, Leeson in Neillsville and Tri-mart in Menomonie. Jenny and Mark were very sociable and knew people in the Neillsville, Hatfield and Bloomer areas. They had a camper in the Bloomer area for many years, where they would spend many of their summer weekends. Jenny was excellent at proof-reading, English and grammar. She had a wonderful sense of humor that she passed onto her offspring. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing dirty clubs and pull-tabs. She was always an excellent marksman and could hear a mosquito sneeze. Her rhetorical questions always provided some level of humor.
She will be greatly missed by her family and the friendships made by her and Mark over the years.
Jenny is survived by her son, Tony C. Suda of Granton; her daughters, Teresa Tieman of Willard and Angi Rankl Suda of Hugo, MN; as well as three grandchildren (Craig, Randi and Kasey); two great-grandchildren (Allen and Graci); and two great-great-grandchildren (Nicholas and Eric).
Jenny is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Milly; her loving husband, Mark J Kronberger; and her daughter-in-law, Cindy Suda.
A celebration of life will take place from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at The Apple Valley Road Haus and Event Center in Neillsville.
