GAYLE A. SCHOENGARTH

     Gayle Allen Schoengarth, Neillsville, died May 8, 2025, at the age of 91.

     He was born Feb. 8, 1934, in Neillsville, WI, the son of Albert and Rhoda (Davis) Schoengarth. He attended and graduated from Neillsville High School, graduating in 1952. He entered the U.S. Air Force in July 1952 and was honorably discharged July 1956, including one year in Korea. After discharge from the service, he worked in various locations, including Milwaukee, Janesville and Neillsville. He worked 20 years as an electronics technician and finally retiring from Nelson Filter Co. in 1996.

     He is survived by his wife, Geri (Pilsner); and his son, John (Alisha); and stepson, Corey (Maria); also a son, Rick of Washington; and daughters Barbara Dannenmaier from Missouri and Mary Blaser from Wisconsin from a previous marriage. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

     Gayle was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harris (Ann) Schoengarth; and sister, Bonnie (Mike) North.

     Per Gayle’s wishes, no services will be held.
