VICKIE GRAP

Vickie L. Grap passed away peacefully at home  Tuesday,  Dec. 30, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and generosity that will be remembered by all who knew her.

Vickie was born Jan. 7, 1937, in Greensboro,  NC.

Family was the center of Vickie’s life.  She especially cherished her grandchildren,  great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren,  whose laughter and presence brought her endless joy and comfort. Their happiness among her greatest treasures.

Vickie had a gift for making people feel at home.   She loved gardening,  baking,  crafting and knitting, and her home was always filled with warmth,  good food and open arms.  No one ever left her house hungry, and everyone was welcome, whether family,  friend  or someone in need of kindness. She was known for her wonderful laugh, her gentle spirit, her many notes and cards for others  and her constant willingness to help others without hesitation.

Her kindness was quiet but steady,  shown through everyday acts of love, generosity  and care.  Vickie touched many lives simply by being herself,  and her presence brought comfort to those around her.

Vickie is survived by children J. Kevin Grap,  Tammie Grap,  Kaila Russell,  Kirstin Grap  and Justin Grap.

She was preceded in death by husband Wayne F Grap and two sons, Michael Grap and Mark Grap, whom she carried forever in her heart.

A memorial service will be held Saturday,  March 14, at Living Hope Church in Neillsville. Visitation will be held at 1 to 3 p.m. with service at 3 p.m.
