BRENDA F. NASH

     Brenda Nash, 73, of Greenwood, WI, formerly of Neillsville, WI, passed peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, at her home (The Braeburn House) in Greenwood, WI, on the evening of Feb. 8, 2025, due to natural causes.

     Brenda Faye Nash was born in Raleigh, NC, Jan. 26, 1952, the daughter of William C. and Elizabeth A. (Stells) Nash. 

     Brenda loved being a mother and was always happy to spend time with her 11 children, 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren any chance she had. Her joy in life was her family, so the more the family grew, the happier she was.

     Brenda loved to keep herself busy and was involved with many organizations within the Neillsville area. When she wasn’t busy working or helping out where she was needed, she loved gardening, vacations in the Tennessee mountains, relaxing in the beautiful sun at the ocean and sharing her love for Jesus. Brenda had a heart of gold and was loved by so many; her life was filled with joy, and she shared that in all she did. 

     Brenda is preceded in death by her father, William C. Nash; mother Elizabeth A. (nee, Stells); brother Tony Stells; sister Claudia Stells; and daughter Hannah N. Miedziak

     Brenda is survived by her son, Gary (Leslie) Zink and three children, Clayton, Caleb and Cadence; daughter Robin (Shane) Betlaf and three children, Brandon, Adam II and Cat (Brandon); daughter, Elizabeth Nash and three children, Bailey (Aubrey), Mikaela and Genesis; daughter Amanda (Aaron) Meacham and two children Killian and Brynn; daughter Sarah (Tye) Decorah and two children, Kahlea and Aiden; daughter Emily (Nicholas) Opelt and one child, Harper; son Alex (Autum) Schablow and two children, Adaline and Xander; son David Schablow and two children, Daniel and Ryan; daughters Leah and Kayla Schablow; great-grandchildren Adam III, Sawyer, McKinleigh, Mia, Royce and baby Nash; sister Vickie (Ray) Jenson; niece Jane; nephew Ray Jr.; brother Johnny A. Sports; nieces Jacquline and Ashley; nephew Jacob; sister Dalyah C. Sports; nephew Christian; and niece Becca.

     The family would like to thank Taylor Opelt and the staff at the Braeburn House for their unconditional love and care over the years for Brenda. 

     Brenda’s celebration of life will be in the early summer of 2025, date to be determined.
