ALEXANDER JOHN DRINKA

     Alexander John Drinka, 37, of Greenwood, formerly of Chili, passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, at the Kourtland House in Greenwood.

     A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2025, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.

     Alex was born July 28, 1987, the son of Donald Drinka and Brenda Wilke, in Marshfield. He graduated from Neillsville High School in 2008. Alex enjoyed bowling, music, watching videos, riding in the car, shopping and being around people.

     Alex is survived by his grandmother, Ellen Wilke; his father, Donald (Lori) Drinka and the Drinka family; two half-siblings, Ashley Mohr and Tyler Mohr; his aunt, Sandy (Mark) Welniak; his uncle, James (Melissa) Drinka; his stepfather, Lucas Mikkelsen; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends; and his special family at the Kourtland House in Greenwood that Alex has grown to love and that cared for him for the past six years.

     He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda, in 2014 and his grandfather, Virgil Wilke.
