EILEEN A. ZANK

     Eileen Alyce Zank, 86, died Jan. 2, 2025. Eileen was born July 29, 1938, in Neillsville to Edward and Anna (Scherer) Zank. She graduated from Neillsville High School in 1956. Eileen spent all of her work career in the banking industry. She also played organ for the United Church of Christ, where she was a member. In her retirement, she enjoyed playing piano for the residents at the nursing home and the retirement community and was a long-time poll worker for the City of Neillsville.  Eileen also enjoyed the time she spent with family and friends.  

     She is survived by her sister, Betty Meihack of Neillsville; and her brothers, William (Susan) of Neillsville and Richard (Marie) of Red Wing, MN.  She is further survived by her nephew and nieces, along with a great-nephew and great-nieces.  

     She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Ronald Meihack.  

     A memorial service for Eileen will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at the United Church of Christ in Neillsville, WI. Pastor Julie Ruegsegger will officiate. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at the United Church of Christ.

     In lieu of flowers, the family asks you make a donation in Eileen’s memory to the United Church of Christ or the Clark County Humane Society.
